The Ace 250 metal detector is ideal for searching for coins, relics, jewelry, and all kinds of treasures. This device features excellent iron discrimination, manual ground balance, object identification, one-touch operation, iron tones, and a pinpoint function. The Garrett Ace offers excellent value for money. For example, this digital Garrett Ace 250 metal detector has a 6.5 kHz search frequency and five search modes for jewelry, coins, relics, or all metals. You also have the option of creating your own search. The display shows object identification (metal type detection) and the depth range in centimeters. Unwanted iron objects such as nails can be easily excluded from your search process.

Object identification

The Ace 250 metal detector features segmented identification. As soon as the metal detector detects an object, you hear a tone and a block appears below the segment bar at the top of the display. This tells you the type of metal, or rather, what the object might be (e.g., iron). The Ace 250 also has three different audio tones. A low tone indicates iron, a medium tone indicates gold and other objects, and a high tone indicates silver or other highly conductive metals.

Sensitivity and discrimination

You can adjust the sensitivity yourself, allowing you to achieve greater depth performance. Discrimination is also adjustable. With the Ace 250's highly accurate discrimination, you can easily exclude unwanted objects, especially iron objects.

Pinpoint function

The Garrett Ace 250 also has a pinpoint function. This allows you to pinpoint the exact location of objects. This allows you to pinpoint the object more precisely, thus reducing the work involved in digging it out.

Notch function

The notch function allows you to discriminate very precisely. This allows you to manually discriminate entire conductance ranges, thus excluding them from the search.

Waterproof search coil

The Ace 250 has a waterproof search coil, but the display isn't. So, you can use the detector in shallow water as long as the display doesn't get wet. You should also protect your display with an electronics protector during a rain shower.

Reaction speed

This metal detector is particularly notable for its depth detection and fast response speed. The latter is especially important when several targets are located adjacent to each other. Most metal detectors only give you a single signal. With the Ace 250, you'll notice that you can hear and see that there are multiple targets.

Good depth performance

The powerful elliptical and waterproof 17 x 25 cm (7 x 10 inches) search coil provides a good depth range. Up to 25 cm for coin-sized objects and up to 1 m for larger targets.
