Multi-IQ multi-frequency technology
The EQUINOX 900 features Multi-IQ technology, which uses all frequencies (4 kHz, 5 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz, and 40 kHz) simultaneously. You can either search on a single frequency or use Multi-IQ, where the detector uses all frequencies simultaneously. A low 5 kHz frequency offers a wider depth range, while a high 40 kHz frequency is more sensitive to small objects like gold nuggets. Multi-IQ technology combines the advantages of all frequencies.

Waterproof up to 5 meters
The EQUINOX 900 is fully waterproof to 5 meters, making it ideal for use in both fresh and salt water. The detector can also be used in the rain without any problems.

Search modes
The EQUINOX 900 has eight search modes: two for parks, two for fields, two for beaches, and two for gold prospecting. These programs can be customized and saved. There's also a quick key for a custom program, allowing you to save a total of nine programs.

Bluetooth and ML-85 headphones
The EQUINOX 900 is equipped with Bluetooth and comes with the ML-85 Low Latency Bluetooth headphones. There's also a waterproof 3.5 mm jack for optional wired or underwater headphones. The volume can be adjusted directly on the device.

Built-in Li-ion battery
The EQUINOX 900 features a built-in Li-ion battery that charges via a magnetic USB port. Battery life is approximately 10–12 hours. The detector can also be charged via a power bank while searching.

Weight, search coils and ground balance
At just 1.28 kg, the EQUINOX 900 is lightweight and portable. It comes with a 28 cm DD search coil (EQX 11) and an additional 15 cm/6" DD search coil (EQX 6). A larger 38 x 30 cm coil (EQX 15) is available as an option. Ground balancing can be performed manually or automatically. The tracking function automatically adjusts the detector to the ground.

Reaction speed
The response speed of the EQUINOX 900 is adjustable in 8 steps. A low setting provides maximum search depth, while a high setting easily separates closely spaced objects. With this detector, you'll never miss a target again.

Object identification
The EQUINOX 900 features a conductivity display for target identification. Ferrous targets are displayed as -19 to 0, while valuable objects such as silver and gold are displayed as 1 to 99. The discrimination function allows you to hide ferrous targets. The horseshoe button quickly turns iron discrimination on or off.

The EQUINOX 900 features a red display, button, and coil illumination that can be adjusted to several brightness levels. Ideal for searching at dusk or in dark environments.

Pinpoint function and software updates
The pinpoint function lets you pinpoint the exact location of an object for quick excavation. Software updates can be easily performed via USB.
