Quest V80 Metal Detector – High-performance device with HyperQ technology and versatile features

The Quest V80 is a professional metal detector that, thanks to its HyperQ multi-frequency technology and robust construction, is suitable for a wide range of applications. With an adjustable frequency range of 5 to 80 kHz and the ability to use multiple frequencies simultaneously, the V80 offers precise target detection – even in difficult ground conditions.

The device is waterproof up to 5 meters and features a compact, four-section carbon telescopic rod that can be folded down to a transport length of just 49 cm . It is powered by an integrated 5600 mAh lithium battery that provides up to 15 hours of runtime and is conveniently charged via USB-C .

Included in delivery is a powerful 28 x 26 cm Blizzard11 DD search coil , which ensures high depth performance and good ground tracking. Optionally, the device can be supplemented with the smaller 24 x 14 cm Blizzard9 coil (included in the bundle version).

Versatile frequency selection and five search modes

In addition to the HyperQ simultaneous frequency, individual values ​​can also be manually selected: 5, 10, 15, 20, 40, or 60 kHz . The five preset programs— Park, Field, Beach, Gold, and Cache— make the V80 a versatile device for a wide variety of environments and targets—whether in the field, on water, in the mountains, or on mineralized soils.

User-friendly features and gyro sensor

An integrated gyro sensor detects movement of the coil, enabling automatic ground balancing without pressing a button. Additionally, the device can enter a power-saving mode when not in motion and automatically reactivate when movement is detected.

Easy-to-read display with backlight

The display features multi-level backlighting and, thanks to reflective LCD technology, remains easily readable even in direct sunlight. This design also reduces power consumption.

Flexible sound settings

The number and characteristics of the identification tones can be extensively customized. The V80 supports 2, 3, 5, or up to 99 tones , with freely configurable tone ranges, volumes, and pitches. For example, the tone distribution can be customized according to conductivity values ​​(ID 1–99).

Automatic interference suppression

At the touch of a button, an automatic interference frequency search can be started, which selects a channel with as little interference as possible within 10 seconds .

Wireless headphones included

The V80 features an integrated radio module and comes with the Quest Wirefree Pro wireless headphones . These headphones are adjustable, wraparound, and specifically tuned for detector operation.
