Object identification
The Ace 250 metal detector features segmented identification. As soon as the metal detector detects an object, you hear a tone and a block appears below the segment bar at the top of the display. This tells you the type of metal, or rather, what the object might be (e.g., iron). The Ace 250 also has three different audio tones. A low tone indicates iron, a medium tone indicates gold and other objects, and a high tone indicates silver or other highly conductive metals.
Sensitivity and discrimination
