SMF Simultaneous Multifrequency
Nokta|Makro's new SMF multi-frequency technology allows users to search on all frequencies simultaneously. You can also work with a selectable search frequency, choosing between 4, 10, 15, 20, and 40 kHz. Low search frequencies have the advantage of allowing deeper searches and are particularly suitable for locating larger, deeper objects. High search frequencies have a shallower depth but are very accurate in detecting the smallest objects in the upper layer. Choose one of the SMF Simultaneous Multi Frequency modes, which searches on all search frequencies from 4 to 40 kHz simultaneously! The Legend then combines the advantages of all search frequencies, allowing you to find very small objects more effectively and larger objects even deeper. Salt minerals on beaches and in salt water can be completely ignored by the Legend! Of course, you can also work with just one selectable search frequency, choosing the search frequency that best suits your task.

Completely waterproof
The Legend is fully waterproof (IP68) to a depth of 3 meters underwater. This allows you to go a step further and search in places no one has ever searched before. This also has the advantage of being completely rinseable with water, making cleaning much easier and faster.

Integrated Bluetooth including aptX™ Low Latency headphones
An integrated wireless module is, of course, a must, but The Legend also comes with high-quality Bluetooth aptX™ Low Latency headphones. These headphones completely cover your ears, so ambient noise won't disturb you while you focus on the sounds of your metal detector.

Ferro Check
Ferro Check is a unique feature of The Legend that displays the iron to non-ferrous ratio of the buried object, allowing you to identify objects even more accurately before excavation. With the new Ferro Check feature, you'll find less "modern" junk like bottle caps.

4 search programs
The Legend has 4 search programs: Park, Field, Beach and Goldfield.

• Parking mode is designed for searching for coins and jewelry in frequently visited areas where there is a lot of modern waste such as aluminum foil, pull tabs, bottle caps, etc.
• Field mode is designed for searching for coins and relics on mown and plowed fields.
• Beach mode is optimized for use on dry or wet beaches and for underwater use.
• Goldfield mode is perfect for searching for gold nuggets in mineralized goldfields.

Robust construction and replaceable batteries
The Legend features a robust construction and a carbon fiber lower frame. It folds compactly for transport and can be quickly and easily adjusted to any desired length. The Legend has a built-in battery that can be charged via USB. You also have the option of attaching an external battery under the armrest, so you won't run out of power while on the go. (The external battery is not included in the standard package, only in the Pro package).

Extensive sound settings - now with polyphonic tones!
The Legend offers object detection in the form of polyphonic tones. You can also choose how many different tones you want to use (1, 2, 4, 6, or a maximum of 60) and individually adjust the position of these tones along the conductivity scale (tone break). You also have the option to adjust the pitch and volume, and if you prefer no sound at all, you can set the device to vibrate, which is ideal for underwater searches.

Built-in clock and user time
As a true detectorist, you know how quickly time flies when you're out searching, and it's frustrating to have to reach for your phone with dirty hands to check the time. With The Legend, you'll always have an eye on the time. With just a glance at the display, you can see what time it is and also instantly see how long the detector has been operating.

Recovery speed, lighting and software update
The Legend offers the ability to adjust the recovery speed. For example, if you want maximum depth coverage, you should set the recovery speed as low as possible. If you're searching in frequently visited locations, such as parks, it's desirable to set the recovery speed higher to better identify nearby objects. Additionally, the Legend features display and search coil illumination for nighttime searching, as well as updatable software to keep your Legend always up to date!
