The Minelab Equinox 800 is a powerful Multi-IQ multi-frequency metal detector that is fully waterproof to a depth of 3 meters and can be used both on land and underwater.

Multi-IQ technology
Thanks to Multi-IQ multi-frequency technology, the Equinox 800 operates simultaneously on multiple frequencies (5 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz, and 40 kHz). This allows you to search on a single frequency or use all of them simultaneously. Low frequencies like 5 kHz offer greater depth detection, while high frequencies like 40 kHz are more sensitive to small objects like gold nuggets. Multi-IQ technology combines the best of all five frequencies for maximum performance.

Waterproof
The Equinox 800 is waterproof up to 3 meters, making it ideal for use in both fresh and saltwater. Even in the rain, you can continue searching without any problems.

Search modes
There are four search modes: Park, Field, Beach, and Gold. These cover all typical search conditions.

Gold nugget search
The Equinox 800 is also ideal for searching for gold nuggets, as it is particularly sensitive to small objects and precious metals.

Bluetooth and WiFi
The detector features a built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi WM08 radio system and comes with wireless headphones. There's also a connection for wired or underwater headphones. The volume can be adjusted directly on the device for both the speaker and headphones.

Built-in Li-ion battery
The Equinox 800 has a built-in, rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges via a magnetic USB port. Battery life is approximately 10–12 hours. The device can also be charged with a power bank while searching.

Weight and search coils
At just 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs), the Equinox 800 is lightweight and portable. It comes with an 11-inch double-D search coil. A 6-inch coil and a larger 15 x 12-inch coil are available as options.

Ground balance
Ground balance can be performed both automatically and manually, which is particularly important in difficult ground conditions.

Reaction speed
The Equinox's extremely fast response time ensures that even objects close to each other are detected. This means no more lost finds. The detection and separation of metal types is precise.

Object identification
The conductivity display allows you to determine the metal type of an object. Ferrous objects are displayed as -9 to 0, while more valuable objects such as silver and gold are displayed between 1 and 40. The discrimination function allows unwanted ferrous objects to be masked out.

Display lighting
The Equinox series features a display illumination that is ideal for searching at dusk or in low-light conditions.

Pinpoint function
The pinpoint function allows you to pinpoint the exact location of an object, allowing it to be excavated quickly and easily. Software updates are also possible via USB.
